Porter National Sales Manager – Custom Division

The NSM will have national responsibility for division-specific profitable sales revenue growth. The NSM develops and implements specific sales, marketing, pricing and merchandising goals, strategies and tactics to achieve this primary objective.

The NSM will direct the way in which all products are presented to the market both on a brand specific and trade class specific basis; the corporate leader who develops position, messaging, and direction and establishes service standard that respects targeted market.

The NSM is responsible for continual sales growth and development of the assigned division, directing divisional sales personnel and efficient use of resources to achieve objectives.

Division Manager

We offer a unique opportunity for a seasoned volleyball player/coach to stay connected to the game in the competitive environment of sales. This position is newly created and an outgrowth of our recent restructure from a region-specific to a sport-specific sales approach. The talented individual who is the best fit for this position should be passionate about volleyball, have a proven record of their need to win, be able to look at problems as challenges with unique solutions, and willing to travel. Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not required.

As the division responds positively to focused attention of a specific sales strategy, sales are expected to grow. As sales grow, the division manager will spearhead the hiring and development of more staff to support the volleyball sales effort they design.

This is a full-time, salaried opportunity with generous benefits including up to a 30% bonus based on performance, 80% health insurance, 9 paid holidays, 6 personal days/year, 5 vacation days first year, then 10 days/year, 401(k) with company match, and on-site workout room, lockers and showers.

This career position is based in the Midwest micro-urban community ofChampaign,IL– headquarters of Litania Sports Group, Inc. Our facility offers 205,000 square feet manufacturing operations for Porter Athletic, Gill Athletics, and PowerMax.
